As we all know, the 5th of February is Allison’s birthday, so its no surprise that there was a lot of excitement in the build up to the big day.
Folks started gathering early, some just sitting around waiting for the birthday party to begin.
.
.
But we had business to attend to before the festivities could get all the way underway, and that took us to this place where the Birthday mixer was made.
.
.
There were welders and cutters and grinders
.
.
and all sorts of people
.
.
pitching in to make the beautiful machine.
.
.
One reminded me of Ray Charles.
.
.
There were sparks flying
.
.
and lights flashing, and in due course
.
.
a big yellow B-Day Mixer emerged.
.
.
It was tested
.
.
and inspected
.
.
and touched up
.
.
and greased up
.
.
and lifted up
.
.
by a whole bunch of strong guys
.
.
who heaved and ho-ed
.
.
and pushed and pulled
.
.
until the mixer was safely
.
.
in the back of the little pick up that (we hoped) could. And then it took a twenty mile trip, its first, over some very mean roads
.
.
until it was pushed and pulled again
.
.
and guided safely
.
.
into its new home.
.
.
Where it lived up to its name and mixed the biggest, best B-Day cake ever.
.
.
And they all ate
.
.
happily
.
.
ever
.
.
after
.
.
The End.

what a nice gift.
and what a gifted giver.
Beautifully done! But my question is, How are you going to celebrate your favorite cousin’s B-Day on the 6th?
WONDERFUL pictorial, David! Thanks!
OK, the birthday celebration should be over when this e-mail reaches you, so let’s get down to running big slabs of concrete to finish off the house………………….
The mixer is a great addition to the complex and will, I’m sure, pull its weight in work. But how about a round of applause for the little truck that could? Amazing that the little Toyota could carry the big yellow birthday cake/machine!
Wow. That’s a beautiful piece of work. It will be amazing to see all that it produces. I can see there’s alot of necessary grieving left to do from that broken-into vehicle. And so understandably, alot of grieving to leave your wonderful girls. Alas. It’s also so good to hear your reports again.
Dear Stevie,
By sending you a beautiful, chrome, custom-made wheel chair, of course.
David
Thanks, Chris,
Yes. All true. As you and Debi know from your current travels. Can’t wait to see you. Go well.
