I have a friend that would like to volunteer in Africa, is this possible?
Marisela,
I just saw this comment. Not sure how I missed it earlier. Have your friend contact Greg or myself and we can talk about volunteering in Africa. No doubt something can work out there.
Thanks for your interest.
David
I too would like to volunteer in Africa. I would offer support in any way that I could.
Hi Todd, feel free to write me and we can communicate on the subject:

Hi Greg,
I am currently awaiting to leave for a Peace Corps assignment to Africa, but unfortunately could be stuck in the states for a few more months. Robert Donaldson mentioned your organization and I became very intrigued. He recommended that I get in touch with you.
I think what you’re doing over there is very admirable and only wish that more people could share in the same selfless passions as you and your volunteers. Is there anyway I could help? How often do your volunteers travel to Africa?

Hi Brittan,
I just got an email from Greg about your request, and then Isaw your comment posted here. Feel free to email me at dwsaunders@gmail.com and we can talk about the variuos possibilities.

Hey,
I am a student at Central Catholic High School and am interested in going to Africa this summer to help out RROP. I also have a friend, who lives in Michigan, who might also be interested. Please reply with any info.
Thanks again!
Hi Greg,
I am so glad to learn about RROP for 3 reasons: 1) I love it that you have clearly adopted your mother’s concern for the most vulnerable among us–her work has made a difference in so many lives; 2) today technology connects us more than ever before, yet the tendency is to try to isolate ourselves from our neighbor’s pain; you have demonstrated how to take practical action in helping others even if they are far away geographically; and 3) if each of us follows your fine example by responding to the need we see, even in a small way, we will all be better for it. thank you for your shining example for all of us!
Looking into doing any volunteer work in Africa. Please e-mail me and let me know of ways I can help out. God bless
